AMMAN — The Public Security Department (PSD) on Wednesday continued its blood donation campaigns across the Kingdom. The department carried out two campaigns at Amman’s Gendarmerie Command and Civil Defence Department, in addition to field campaigns in Irbid and Aqaba.
The PSD worked in tandem with the Jordanian Royal Medical Services (RMS) and the Health Ministry to supplement the shortage in blood reserves resulting from the partial and comprehensive curfews, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Gendarmerie and Civil Defence Department personnel participated in the campaigns in Amman, while a large number of PSD personnel donated blood to Prince Hashem Military Hospital in Aqaba, and Ramtha police to Irbid’s King Abdullah University Hospital.
