PSD chief meets with Palestinian Civil Defence chief

AMMAN — Public Security Directorate (PSD) Director Maj. Gen. Obaidallah Maaytah on Monday met with Director of the Palestinian Civil Defence (PCD) Maj. Gen. Al Abd Ibrahim Khalil to discuss ways of enhancing cooperation and coordination in security, civil protection and expertise exchange.

Maaytah reiterated the PSD's keenness to implement Royal directives related to supporting the PCD and exchange expertise to improve service provision, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

Khalil commended the "distinguished" level of the PSD's operations, notably their humanitarian and civil protection efforts.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian guest delegation met with director of Jordanian Civil Defence Directorate, and visited Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II Academy of Civil Protection, among other colleges and training centres.
