PSD chief meets with Capital Governorate Council over cooperation

AMMAN — The Public Security Department (PSD) Director Maj. Gen. Fadel Hmoud on Saturday met with the Capital Governorate Council Chairman Ahmad Al Abdalat and the Council members, with whom he discussed cooperation between the PSD and the council.

Hmoud stressed the PSD’s keenness on widening cooperation horizons and direct communication with the council, in a way that “would positively address the citizens’ concerns and needs”.

For his part, Al Abdalat valued the efforts of the PSD in serving the citizens and safeguarding their security and properties, voicing appreciation to the openness shown by the PSD to all official and civil institutions and local councils, in addition to the PSD’s great support for the decentralisation experience in order to render it successful, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
