PSD arrests 2 suspects for inciting hatred, violence at football stadiums

AMMAN — Police arrested two individuals on suspicion of publishing material with the intent to incite hatred and violence at football pitches.

The Public Security Directorate's (PSD) spokesperson on Sunday said the directorate, through the Cybercrime Unit, monitors all hate motivational publications to clamp down on hate speech and take legal action against the owners of such accounts, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The spokesperson also vowed zero tolerance" against any action that could threaten the community peace.
