‘Project to train diplomats, military personnel on int’l security’

AMMAN —The Jordan Institute of Diplomacy (JID) and the Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP) signed on Sunday a memorandum of understanding to reinforce cooperation in relation to international peace and security, according to a statement from the Swiss embassy.

The objectives are to train diplomats, military personnel and other civil servants in the field of international security, and conduct mutually agreed cooperation projects and activities. The GCSP is an international foundation with the primary purpose of promoting peace, security and international cooperation through executive education and training, the statement said.
