Project to build HR capacities at four ministries concludes

AMMAN –– The Ministry of Public Sector Development has finalised a project to build the capacities of human resources units at four ministries.
The project covered the ministries of foreign affairs, planning and international cooperation, finance and trade, raising the number of ministries covered by the project to 16, according to a statement e-mailed to The Jordan Times.
Minister of Public Sector Development Khleef Al Khawaldeh said human resources units at these ministries were evaluated to identify opportunities for improving their performance, adding that the project is part of the 2014-2016 executive plan to improve the public sector performance.
The project entailed providing human resources units with qualified staff and linking ministry departments electronically.
