AMMAN — Under the patronage of HRH Princess Sumaya, chairperson of the board of Trustees of Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT), the Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) kicked off on Monday, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
PSUT said in a statement that the events were organised by the Queen Rania Centre for Entrepreneurship (QRCE), which aims to put Jordan on the map of global entrepreneurship among 170 other countries.
A total of 220 entrepreneurial events are taking place in all governorates in partnership with the European Union, 17 media outlets, and 55 other supporting entities.
The GEW is considered a global event that celebrates entrepreneurs and startup owners as well as boosts economic growth, Petra reported.
