Princess Sumaya meets culture minister

AMMAN — HRH Princess Sumaya, the president of the Royal Scientific Society (RSS), on Monday highlighted the importance of building cultural and scientific awareness through El Hassan Scientific City’s programme.

At a meeting with Culture Minister Adel Tweisi, Princess Sumaya said the joint goal of the Higher Council for Science and Technology’s organisations, RSS and the Princess Sumaya University for Technology is to promote positive cultural and intellectual tendencies, highlighting the possibility to cooperate with the ministry in launching cultural programmes.

Tweisi expressed his appreciation for the efforts of institutions headed by the princess, commending El Hassan Scientific City’s role in raising awareness, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
