Princess Sumaya inaugurates pharmaceutical industry conference

AMMAN — HRH Princess Sumaya, president of the Royal Scientific Society, on Tuesday inaugurated a conference on the pharmaceutical industry in the Middle East and North Africa.

Princess Sumaya said the event represents a sustainable process to guarantee the safety of pharmaceutical products.

The two-day conference, organised by the Jordan Food and Drug Administration, aims at fighting low-quality and counterfeit pharmaceuticals.
