Princess Sumaya calls for protecting world heritage

AMMAN — HRH Princess Sumaya, the vice chairperson of the Jordan Museum, on Thursday participated in a workshop on the relation between archaeology and other sciences.
During the workshop, held on the sidelines of the 13th International Conference on the History and Archaeology of Jordan, Princess Sumaya stressed the need to conserve world heritage, calling for a global response to the threats facing it.
Also on Thursday, Princess Sumaya attended the Public Works and Housing Ministry’s celebration of the Kingdom’s 70th Independence Day and the centennial of the Great Arab Revolt.
