AMMAN — HRH Princess Sumaya, president of the Royal Scientific Society (RSS), on Tuesday said that climate challenges have negative repercussions around the world, calling for policies that enable empowerment and build and enhance capacities to face challenges.
The princess made her remarks at the annual MINARET project's meeting titled “Access to Financing”.
She stressed the RSS’ role in supporting activities and initiatives aimed at facing climate change, praising the MINARET initiative’s goals of preserving the environment and achieving the sustainable development goals, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
