Princess Sarvath attends 20th anniversary of osteoporosis society

AMMAN — HRH Princess Sarvath, honorary president of the Jordanian Society for the Prevention of Osteoporosis (JSPO), on Tuesday attended a ceremony marking the 20th anniversary of  the society, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

She praised the efforts of the founding members and employees of the JSPO, which, since its establishment, has spread awareness of the disease and organised several scientific and social activities.

President of the JSPO Omar Abu Hijleh commended the great efforts exerted by the doctors of the association. During the ceremony, a documentary about the organisation’s achievements since its foundation was screened. The princess also honoured a group of doctors and volunteers.
