Princess Rahma attends launch of Amman historical passageway

AMMAN – Deputising for His Majesty King Abdullah, HRH Princess Rahma on Monday attended a ceremony to launch the historical passageway at the King Hussein Park on the occasion of the Kingdom’s celebrations of the 70th anniversary of Independence Day and the 100th anniversary of the Great Arab Revolt, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Amman Mayor Aqel Biltaji said the 800-metre passageway narrates 12 thousand years of Amman’s history and was created by Jordanian experts in seven months.
The project contains around 13 art pieces of sculpture, murals and replicas chosen by a special committee, the path’s cost is JD2.8 million.
