Princess Ghida welcomes IAEA director at King Hussein Cancer Centre

AMMAN — HRH Princess Ghida Talal, chairperson of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Centre on Wednesday received the director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Yukiya Amano, at the King Hussein Cancer Centre (KHCC), a KHCC statement said.

During the visit, they discussed the IAEA’s areas of cooperation with the centre, and toured its new building and facilities, showcasing the advanced treatment provided to cancer patients.

Princess Ghida voiced her appreciation for the IAEA's generous donation to support the purchase of the SPECT CT Scan device for the centre. The meeting was attended by Asem Mansour, KHCC director general, the statement added.
