Princess Ghida takes part in cancer clinical trial and research conference

AMMAN — HRH Princess Ghida Talal, chairperson of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and Centre (KHCC), has participated in the “Cancer clinical trial and research during the COVID-19 pandemic and future ambitions” conference, which was organised by Nef K. Basile Cancer Institute at the American University of Beirut, the KHCF and the KHCC.

In her speech, via videoconference, Princess Ghida said that millions of cancer patients around the world live on hope for research to provide them discoveries that can save their lives, adding that the main tool to reach such discoveries is clinical trial that made a revolution over decades in treating cancer.

The princess stressed that they key for success is to continue working, continue researching and continue discovering, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
