Princess Ghida launches one-month awareness campaign on World Cancer Day

AMMAN — HRH Princess Ghida Talal, chairperson of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and Centre (KHCC), on Saturday launched  a national awareness campaign under the slogan "Jordan Takes on Cancer" on the occasion of World Cancer Day, which is observed on February 4.

On this occasion, the princess said: "We will continue to fight cancer every day, every hour, and every moment of our lives," according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

The month-long campaign aims to encourage healthy habits for cancer prevention, encourage individuals and various organisations to change their daily behaviour, raise awareness of healthy lifestyles and promote choices that minimise cancer risks such as avoiding smoking, choosing healthy food, exercising and paying attention to mental health.
