Princess Ghida calls for establishing Arab cancer research fund

AMMAN — HRH Princess Ghida Talal, chairperson of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation board of trustees, on Monday called for establishing an Arab fund for cancer research in the Arab world.

Delivering a speech during the “Communication through Research” conference in Beirut, Princess Ghida expressed her appreciation for the foundation’s partnership with the American University in Beirut medical centre and the MD Anderson Cancer Centre.

The event aimed to encourage Middle Eastern researchers to present their unpublished research papers and boost scientific research, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
