AMMAN — HH Princess Dina Mired, honorary president of the European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC), delivered the keynote speech at a dinner held by the organisation in celebration of its 60th anniversary.

During the ceremony, held in Brussels, Princess Dina commended the progress achieved by EORTC since its establishment in treating cancer patients through clinical research on various types of tumours and multidisciplinary treatment specialties on the international level, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

She also praised the efforts of Prince Albert II of Monaco, for improving the quality of life of cancer patients since the beginning of his tenure as head of the EORTC in 2014. Princess Dina assumed the EORTC honorary presidency in 2021, succeeding Prince Albert II.
