Princess Dana attends SOS environmental campaign

AMMAN — HRH Princess Dana Firas, president of the Petra National Trust (PNT) and UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador for Cultural Heritage, attended the "Can do" environmental campaign recently launched by SOS Children’s Villages Jordan. The campaign includes cleaning the southern beach of Aqaba with the participation of youth houses in SOS' three villages in Amman, Irbid and Aqaba, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Monday. SOS National Director Rana Zu’bi said that plastic pollution threatens oceans, marine life and food safety and quality, which might affect human health and negatively impact the climate.
