Princess Alia visits ‘Makani’ centre at Sweileh park

AMMAN — HRH Princess Alia on Thursday checked on projects implemented by Zaha Cultural Centre in Um Omar Park in Sweileh, Amman, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Centre Director Rania Sbeih said Zaha and UNICEF had designated the park as a centre for the “Makani” (My place) programme which provides educational, psychological and social support for Jordanian and Syrian children.
Um Omar Park was revamped as part of a Royal initiative to establish and equip cultural centres in Jordan.
