Prince of Wales due in Jordan for official visit on March 23

AMMAN — Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales, and the Duchess of Cornwall will start an official visit to Jordan on March 23, during which they will meet Their Majesties King Abdullah and Queen Rania, according to a Royal Court statement.
King Abdullah and the Prince of Wales will discuss the deep-rooted, historic ties of friendship between Jordan and the United Kingdom and areas of mutual interest.
During the visit, which is the third by Prince Charles to Jordan in seven years, the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall will visit a number of organisations they support in Jordan, which focus on honing the skills of youth, empowering women and supporting refugees and local communities through training and employment opportunities.
