Prince Raad attends Organ Transplant Centre anniversary event

AMMAN — HRH Prince Raad on Sunday attended a ceremony to mark the fifth anniversary of the establishment of the Directorate of the Jordan Centre for Organ Transplant of the Ministry of Health, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Prince Raad expressed his pride in the efforts exerted by the directorate to serve the citizens, in cooperation with the Jordanian Association for the Promotion of Organ Donation, pointing out the cooperation and partnership between the Jordanian Centre for Organ Donation and Saudi Centre for Organs Transplant.
During the ceremony, which was attended by Minister of Health Mahmoud Sheyyab, Director of the Directorate Abdul Hadi Breizat said that the previous years have been a "milestone" in the work of the directorate with the support and follow-up of Prince Raad, and many concerned authorities.
The representative of the Saudi Centre for Organs Transplant, Hassan Al Khnani, commended the level of cooperation between the Saudi and the Jordanian organ donation centres, which have the potential to achieve better results in the future.
