Prince Mired sees off Jordan’s Paralympic team to Tokyo

AMMAN — HH Prince Mired, the chief chamberlain and the president of the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, on Sunday attended the see-off ceremony of the Jordanian team participating in the 2021 Tokyo Paralympic Games, which is scheduled between August 24 and September 5.
During the ceremony, Prince Mired expressed appreciation of the efforts of the players and the Jordan Paralympic Committee that resulted in the qualification of 10 players in athletics, weightlifting and table tennis, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The prince also voiced confidence that the players will win medals for Jordan. Hussein Abulruz, head of the Jordan Paralympic Committee, recalled the efforts and support of HRH Prince Raad to people with disabilities, stressing keenness to provide ideal preparation for the players.
