Prince Mired meets with transport minister

AMMAN — HH Prince Mired, president of the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, and Transport Minister Marwan Khitan on Monday discussed mechanisms to enhance efforts aimed at empowering people with disabilities.

During a visit to the ministry, Prince Mired commended the government procedures that aim at guaranteeing access to the rights of people with disabilities, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Khitan said that the ministry will "spare no effort" to offer full support to people with disabilities.
