Prince Mired meets with Amazon Jordan general manager

AMMAN — HH Prince Mired, the president of the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, on Thursday met Amazon Jordan General Manager Mahmoud Obeidat over helping persons with disabilities find employment at Amazon community.

During the meeting, it was agreed up on arranging for signing a memorandum of understanding to expand cooperation, notably employ jobseekers with disabilities through Amazon's recruitment programme for university graduates, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The prince and Obeidat discussed the vacancies at Amazon Jordan, focusing on means of enhancing the inclusion of people with disabilities, with talks also covering the strategic partnership between the two sides.

Prince Mired expressed appreciation of Amazon’s efforts to ensure people with disabilities appropriate and decent jobs.
