AMMAN — HH Prince Mired, the president of the Hashemite Commission for Disabled Soldiers, concluded a three-day visit to the UK on Wednesday, a British embassy statement said.
The visit aimed at sharing best practices on military care for serving personnel and veterans.
The prince visited the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre at Headley Court, the Battle Back Centre at Lilleshall, Shropshire, and charities and NGOs that care for serving and former military personnel.
“Jordan and the UK have always enjoyed a long and friendly relationship, especially as concerns military affairs.
The services and support that the UK affords its wounded heroes is truly amazing and I sincerely hope that further cooperation between our two countries will enhance and better the services that we provide in Jordan,” the statement quoted Prince Mired as saying.
