Prince Hassan visits Department of Statistics

AMMAN — HRH Prince Hassan, chairman of the Higher Council for Science and Technology, on Wednesday visited the Department of Statistics, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. During the visit, the prince stressed the importance of statistical information in enhancing decision making and drafting future plans to further economic and social development.

He highlighted the importance of cooperation among the concerned institutions to produce efficient figures and data. For his part, Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Imad Fakhoury said that the statistical information represents the basis of planning, drafting policies and taking decisions.
