AMMAN — HRH Prince Hassan, chairman of the Royal Institute for Inter-Faith Studies board of trustees, discussed several cultural, economic and social issues with the Amman Group for Future Dialogues on Sunday, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
During the meeting, Prince Hassan highlighted the gap between the generations and the importance of peaceful social communication, noting that inclusive citizenship is the most important expression of patriotism.
The prince highlighted the "renaissance project" led by Sharif Hussein Bin Ali, which was in line with the beliefs of the pioneers of the Arab awakening.
The mindset behind the Arab renaissance, which was part of the Great Arab Revolt launched in 1916, was based on the culture of gradual modernisation that casts away isolationism and exclusion, Prince Hassan noted.
