AMMAN — The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) inaugurated on Wednesday the Prince Hassan Quarter Health Centre after completing rehabilitation works, funded by the Saudi Fund for Development.
“Despite the unprecedented financial crisis facing the Agency, with support from our partners we strive to improve the quality and efficiency of the health services we provide to refugees,” Director of UNRWA operations in Jordan Roger Davies said.
The Saudi Fund for Development has supported comprehensive rehabilitation works for eleven UNRWA health centres across Jordan, according to the statement.
Prince Hassan Health Centre provides preventive and curative health services to some 137,000 Palestine refugees living in the vicinity of the centre.
