Prince Feisal meets with Tennis federation president

AMMAN — HRH Prince Feisal, president of the Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC) and member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Executive Board, received on Friday David Haggerty, the president of the International Tennis Federation and member of the IOC.

Haggerty’s visit, the first to the Kingdom, came at the invitation of the Jordan Tennis Federation to oversee the competition of the U-12 West Asia Championship hosted by the Federation.

During the meeting, Haggerty praised the significant progress made by Jordanian tennis in recent years and noted the presence of a distinguished group of Jordanian players competing at an international level.

In a statement released by the JOC on Saturday, Haggerty expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the Jordan Tennis Federation in developing and promoting the sport in cooperation with the JOC, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
