Prince Feisal launches Jordan Olympic Academy

AMMAN — HRH Prince Feisal, president of the Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC), on Wednesday launched the Jordan Olympic Academy during an Amman-held ceremony in the presence of several princes and princesses, ambassadors and representatives of international organisations.

JOC established the academy in 2022 to work as an educational arm for the committee to provide accredited programmes and projects in sports administration, Olympic training and education, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

JOC Deputy Chairman Sari Hamdan highlighted the importance of launching the academy to serve the sports system and enhance basic principles and values related to the Olympic movement.
