Prince Feisal inaugurates Amman-hosted meeting of ITTF

AMMAN — HRH Prince Feisal, president of the Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC) and member of the International Olympic Committee's executive board, on Tuesday inaugurated the Amman-hosted meeting of the general assembly of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF).

In a video during the inaugural speech, Prince Feisal congratulated ITTF on the recently well-organised world tournament, especially in light of the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The prince also praised the efforts of the ITTF, represented by its President Petra Sörling, regarding protection in sports and providing a safe environment for athletes. He also highlighted the importance of joining the efforts of national Olympic committees and international federations to ensure that a safe and fair environment free of harassment and abuse is provided for all athletes.
