Prince Feisal honours Koran memorising contest winners

AMMAN — Deputising for His Majesty King Abdullah, HRH Prince Feisal on Thursday presented awards to the winners of the 28th International Hashemite Competition for Memorising the Holy Koran, organised by the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs.

Awqaf Minister Abdul Nasser Abul Bassal said that the event saw the participation of 900 Jordanian and 36 international contestants in which 35 national and five international contestants won, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported
