Prince Asem attends Hashemite Scientific Councils session

AMMAN — Deputising for His Majesty King Abdullah, HRH Prince Asem Bin Nayef on Friday attended the third session of this year’s Hashemite Scientific Councils, titled “Philosophy of Jihad in Islam”.

The meeting, held at King Abdullah I Mosque, was attended by former awqaf minister Abdel Rahim Akour, Awqaf Minister Hayel Dawood, and a number of officers and officials.

Akour spoke about a comprehensive concept of Islam and then turned to Islamic Jihad, its rules, meanings and history.
