Prince Ali congratulates Prince Abdulaziz on reelection as AFA chief

AMMAN — HRH Prince Ali, president of the West Asian Football Federation (WAFF), on Sunday congratulated Prince Abdulaziz Bin Turki Al Faisal on his reelection by acclamation as president of the Arab Football Federation (AFA) for a new term between 2021 and 2025.

The nomination of Prince Abdulaziz came during the 26th General Assembly of the AFA, which was held in Jeddah. In his letter to Prince Abdulaziz, Prince Ali said that the reelection of Prince Abdulaziz confirms the success of the federation under the leadership of Prince Abdulaziz.

Prince Ali also expressed pride in Prince Abdulaziz and AFA’s efforts to raise the level of football in the Arab world, renewing WAFF’s support for the AFA, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
