Police chief receives Swedish ambassador

AMMAN — Public Security Department (PSD) Director Maj. Gen. Atef Saudi on Thursday met with Swedish Ambassador to Jordan Erik Ullenhag, and discussed ways to enhance cooperation between public security apparatuses in both countries.

Saudi said the PSD was open to benefitting from other countries’ policing expertise, especially at the training level, according to a PSD statement. Ullenhag said Jordan has reached an “advanced status” among regional countries in police services.
