Police chief meets Mubadara group members

AMMAN — Public Security Department (PSD) Director Gen. Tawfiq Tawalbeh on Thursday met with a delegation from the Lower House-based “Mubadara” group, led by MP Mustafa Hamarneh.

Discussions covered means to improve police work, and measures taken to combat crime and enhance road safety.

Tawalbeh noted that the PSD has prepared a security strategy that covers its responsibilities, and also focuses on the need to improve the PSD’s relationship with the community and the private and public sectors.

For their part, the delegates underlined their support for the PSD and measures to enhance its performance.
