Police chief meets with ambassadors

AMMAN — Public Security Department (PSD) Director Maj. Gen. Ahmad Sarhan Faqih on Wednesday met with the ambassadors of Australia, China and Turkey, Miles Armitage, Pan Weifang and Murat Karagöz, a PSD statement said. Faqih and the ambassadors discussed security cooperation and exchanging expertise.

The police chief said the PSD is open to exchanging expertise with other countries to improve performance. For their part, the ambassadors commended the PSD’s role in securing Jordan and making it a safe destination for tourists
