Police chief, British ambassador talk ties, security cooperation

AMMAN — Public Security Directorate (PSD) Director Maj. Gen. Hussein Hawatmeh and British Ambassador to Jordan Bridget Brind on Tuesday discussed means of cooperation between the two countries. 

Hawatmeh highlighted the importance of enhancing security cooperation, notably expertise exchange in technical fields and training to the best interest of the two countries, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The envoy lauded the advanced level of the PSD, highlighting its security and humanitarian efforts and expressing her country's keenness to cooperate in these areas.
