Police chief attends graduation of Diploma Programme for Rehabilitation and Correction Centres

AMMAN — Public Security Directorate Director Maj. Gen. Obaidallah Maaytah on Wednesday attended the graduation ceremony of the fifth and sixth batches of students in the Diploma Programme for Rehabilitation and Correction Centres on Wednesday. 

Maaytah congratulated the graduates on their successful completion of this specialised scientific and professional diploma, which focuses on the effective management and rehabilitation of inmates, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. 

The comprehensive programme included courses in law, security and humanitarian studies, aiming to enhance the knowledge and skills of the graduates working in rehabilitation and correction centres. 

The programme was conducted in collaboration between the Training and Development Institute, affiliated with the Administration of Rehabilitation and Correction Centres, and Al Balqa Applied University.  At the end of the ceremony, Maaytah presented the graduates with their certificates.
