AMMAN — The Poland-based Central European Chamber of Commerce on Thursday appointed former director general of Jordan Europe Business Association Ayman Qaffaf as its representative in Jordan and MENA region. Qaffaf said that the chamber's office in Jordan would generate jobs, bolster collaboration and provide administrative, commercial and cultural assistance to local markets, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The office will organise visits by trade delegations between Jordan and European countries, conduct more meetings and facilitate the reach of Jordanian products into European markets, he added. Qaffaf stressed the need to build relationships between international investors and local communities, support investment and financial systems, create an "ideal" investment environment, develop companies associated with the chamber, and promote the exchange of expertise between businesspeople in Jordan and Central Europe chambers of commerce.
