PM visits Audit Bureau

AMMAN — The government on Monday reiterated support for the Audit Bureau’s oversight role.

Prime Minister Bisher Al Khasawneh, during his visit to the bureau, expressed the government’s commitment to respond to all the bureau’s clarification requests based on its laws and the constitution, pledging “no delay in ensuring justice”.

Reviewing plans and programmes designated to improve work, Assem Haddad, the bureau’s president, said that auditing measures, until the end of September, saved the state some JD89.467 million
