AMMAN — Prime Minister Hani Mulki on Monday visited the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) and checked on measures to enhance the investment environment and facilitate procedures for serving investors and citizens.
During the visit, the second in two weeks, Mulki called on GAM to focus on hiring Jordanian workforce while implementing construction projects to help address poverty and unemployment, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The premier also called for speeding up work to create an advanced and comprehensive transport system within GAM's borders. Amman Mayor Aqel Biltaji said GAM is transparent with citizens and investors, noting that the municipality is committed to addressing any shortcomings and seeks to improve its services.
