AMMAN — Prime Minister Omar Razzaz on Thursday visited the 20th National Olive Festival, which aims at supporting the agricultural sector in Jordan, empowering rural families to improve their living situations and promoting olive-based and other agricultural products.
During his tour of the 4,000-square-metre exhibition, the premier was briefed by Agriculture Minister Ibrahim Shahahdeh on the role of the annual event in improving participants' living conditions, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Razzaz also checked on the food sensory evaluation services, lauding the quality of the Jordanian agricultural products, with emphasising the government's keenness on enhancing producers' access to the local and global markets.
