AMMAN — Prime Minister Hani Mulki on Tuesday voted in the parliamentary elections in Irbid’s 1st district.
Mulki expressed his happiness for participating in the elections to choose the Kingdom’s 18th Lower House.
“I am very happy to participate in this national duty,” he told reporters after casting his ballot, expressing his pride that Jordan is holding elections amidst political, economic and social stability.
Only ballot boxes will be the judge to determine Jordanians’ future, the premier added.
Mulki reiterated the importance of moving ahead with political, economic and social reforms in the country and that there is nothing that can deter Jordanians from continuing the development process in the Kingdom.
Senate President Faisal Fayez also cast his ballot in Um Al Amad, affiliated with the Central Badia District.
