AMMAN — Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh on Monday emphasised the importance of maintaining coordination among operations and emergency rooms to ensure  immediate response amid the prevailing weather conditions.

During a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Local Administration Tawfiq Krieshan, Minister of Public Works and Housing, and Minister of Transport Maher Abu Al Samen, and Minister of Interior Mazen Faraya, the prime minister was briefed on the efforts of operations rooms across the Kingdom, notably issues related to public safety and roads closures.

The premier stressed that the operations and emergency rooms shall provide shelters for citizens and tourists, especially in the Jordan Valley and the southern region, which are experiencing heavy rains that caused floods in low-lying areas and valleys.
