PM restructures ICT advisory council

AMMAN — Prime Minister Hani Mulki on Monday decided to restructure the advisory council of the ICT sector, with the chairmanship of Mulki and membership of several sector specialists.
Council members include ICT Minister Majd Shweikeh as deputy chairman, Ayman Mazahreh as representative of the Economic Policy Council and a representative of the economic and social development administration at the Royal Court as rapporteur, among others, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Shweikeh said that the council is tasked with drawing a roadmap for the digitisation of Jordan, endorsing priorities for the digitisation of the various economic sectors and establishing connections with other sectors related to digitisation.
