PM presents CSB ideal employee awards

AMMAN — Prime Minister Omar Razzaz on Tuesday presented the winners of the 10th Civil Service Bureau (CSB) ideal employee award (2017) with certificates and plaques, as the Cabinet approved CSB recommendations to grant five annual allowances to 20 personnel of the first three job classifications.

President of the CSB Khalaf Hmeisat said 78 departments had recommended 189 candidates for the prize, which aims at motivating personnel with outstanding performance and promoting them for leadership positions. In accordance with Article 35 of the CSB by-law, the allowances will be issued in retrospect, as of December 2017.

Meanwhile, winners are granted priority over other applicants for the Master’s degree scholarship programme at the Royal Jordanian National Defence College.
