PM mourns death of former justice minister Naji Tarawneh

AMMAN — Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Bisher Al Khasawneh on Saturday mourned the death of former justice minister Naji Tarawneh who died earlier in the day.

Khasawneh paid tribute to Tarawneh’s efforts in public service, expressing condolences to his family, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Tarawneh served as justice minister between 1974 and 1976 and as senator in 1997.

He also served as head of the Cassation Court and head of the Judicial Council.
