AMMAN — Prime Minister Omar Razzaz on Wednesday met a number of students from the University of Jordan who had called for postponing graduation ceremonies until the Kingdom's epidemiological status improves via a video published on social media platforms.
During the meeting, Razzaz expressed pride in the students’ “civilised” way of putting forward their proposal, pointing out that the move ”reflects the quality of academic output of the Kingdom’s universities”, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Voicing support for raising such issues objectively, Razzaz announced that the government has adopted the alternative suggested by the students and postponed all university graduation ceremonies.
